Tobam lowered its position in shares of NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) by 32.4% during the second quarter, according to its most recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The firm owned 309,682 shares of the computer hardware maker’s stock after selling 148,239 shares during the period. NVIDIA Corporation accounts for about 1.7% of Tobam’s investment portfolio, making the stock its 19th largest position. Tobam owned approximately 0.05% of NVIDIA Corporation worth $44,768,000 at the end of the most recent quarter.


A number of other large investors also recently made changes to their positions in NVDA. Arete Wealth Advisors LLC raised its stake in shares of NVIDIA Corporation by 0.3% in the first quarter. Arete Wealth Advisors LLC now owns 2,884 shares of the computer hardware maker’s stock worth $314,000 after buying an additional 10 shares during the last quarter. Family Firm Inc. increased its position in NVIDIA Corporation by 0.7% in the second quarter. Family Firm Inc. now owns 1,968 shares of the computer hardware maker’s stock worth $284,000 after buying an additional 13 shares during the period. Appleton Partners Inc. MA increased its position in NVIDIA Corporation by 1.2% in the second quarter. Appleton Partners Inc. MA now owns 2,570 shares of the computer hardware maker’s stock worth $372,000 after buying an additional 30 shares during the period. Miles Capital Inc. increased its position in NVIDIA Corporation by 1.1% in the first quarter. Miles Capital Inc. now owns 3,919 shares of the computer hardware maker’s stock worth $427,000 after buying an additional 41 shares during the period. Finally, Broderick Brian C increased its position in NVIDIA Corporation by 0.4% in the second quarter. Broderick Brian C now owns 13,806 shares of the computer hardware maker’s stock worth $1,996,000 after buying an additional 52 shares during the period. Institutional investors own 68.55% of the company’s stock.


At least four suspected women were apprehended during a raid conducted in Khayaban-e-Muslim on Sunday. The accused women were identified as Sana, Khadija, Ariba and Zarmin.


The spokesperson said that the accused women were involved in drug peddling. The spokesperson also claimed to have recovered arms, ammunitions and narcotics. The suspects were handed over to police for further investigations.



Separately, half a dozen suspects including a political worker were arrested during ongoing targeted raids by paramilitary force in parts of metropolis.


A political worker was arrested during a raid conducted by Rangers troops in New Karachi Industrial Area while the raid was conducted on a tip-off. Rangers spokesperson said that the accused identified as Shoaib aka Kodo was affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London and has been involved in various cases of crime including anti state speeches.


In another raid, Rangers also claimed to have arrested an accused, namely Hidayatullah alias Enayatullah during a raid conducted in Manghopir area. The spokesperson said that the accused was involved in various cases of robberies.


Social worker escapes another murder attack


A social worker escaped a second consecutive murder attack in less than four months in a city on Sunday. According to details, a 38-year-old Muhammad Ilyas, son of Muhammad Hussain, who is also associated with the computer hardware business and runs his own private company at New Karachi Industrial Area, came under attack near Saba Cinema in New Karachi Industrial Area police remits while he was on his way to his godown in the same area.


Police said that Ilyas, a residential of Block 17, Federal B Area was on his way to go-down in his car when at least four armed men riding on two motorcycles came close to him and opened indiscriminate fire at him. However, the victim remained unhurt in the incident as he sped up his car and reached the police station. The culprits, however, managed to escape.


Police said that this was the second such murderous attack on the victim in four months as earlier the unidentified persons attempted to kill him near Allah Wali Chowrangi in New Karachi area on April 2017.


They said that nothing could say exactly about the motive behind the incident as what the police investigators were investigating the case from different angles as he has been involved in social activities, property business, and computer related business as well as has a political background.


The police was looking for the culprits that would help the investigators in ascertaining the motive behind the incident. The case has been registered while further investigation was underway.


Zu meinen neuesten Erkenntnissen gehört: Wir sind nicht allein. Nein, nicht, was Sie denken, ich bin nicht übergelaufen zu Aluhutträgern und auch nicht auf der Suche nach übersinnlichen Phänomenen. Aber es ist eine Tatsache: Auch wenn bei uns niemand zuhause ist – es ist trotzdem jemand da.


Das weiß ich seit neulich Nacht. Ich lag im Tiefschlaf, als mich eine Stimme aus dem Traum riss. Irgendwo sagte eine Frau: Es ist Rauch im Raum. Äh, was?! Ich fuhr aus dem Bett auf und fragte mich zwei Dinge. Woher sollte der Rauch kommen? Und wer zum Teufel war diese Frau? Ich hörte ein Piepen, dann wieder: Es ist Rauch im Raum, eine sanfte Stimme, überbetont höflich und sachlich. Ungefähr wie die Ansagerinnenstimme bei diesen Filmen im Flugzeug, wenn sie sagen: Blasen Sie die Schwimmweste nicht im Flugzeug auf, und niemals erklären warum: Weil man sonst nicht mehr durch den Notausgang passt und mit dem Flugzeug untergeht.


Von irgendwo im Haus sah ich blaues Licht zucken, irgendwas stimmte da nicht. Während ich panisch durchs ganze Haus raste, Herd, Öfen, Kühlschrank und Katze kontrollierte und nirgendwo auch nur den geringsten Rauch vorfand, rief mir die Frau fast schon gut gelaunt hinterher: Das ist ein Test. Ah, Danke, dachte ich und überlegte, auf wen ich jetzt wütend sein sollte. Oder auf was.



Auf dem Rückweg ins Bett entdeckte ich die Täterin quasi nebenbei. Auf einem Regal lag ein blaues Ding, das rhythmisch blau aufleuchtete. Ein Rauchmelder.


Am nächsten Morgen lernte ich, das es zu einem System aus Kameras, Rauch- und Bewegungsmeldern gehörte, mit denen sich Häuser und Wohnungen per Smartphone überwachen lassen. Das las ich Internet. Angeblich wusste das System auch, was eine Person ist und was nicht, stand da. Hm. Dann war der nächtliche Test also pure, personenbezogene Bosheit?


Das blaue Dings liegt inzwischen in einer Schublade, ohne Batterie, darauf habe ich bestanden. Zusammen mit weiteren Rauchmeldern und anderen Warnsystemen, die sich irgendwie als nicht praktikabel erwiesen haben.
